Next generation designs are based on an intricate web of complicated system level interactions that need connectivity between multiple sensors, actuators, processors, ECUs, networks, and test scenarios. Innexis VSI provides:
Build and simulate a system-of-systems Digital Twin using standardized command line Application Programming Interface (APIs).
Connect mixed fidelity HW platforms (virtual
prototypes, register-transfer level (RTL), actual hardware) exercised by real life sensors data, different simulated environmental data and real applications workloads.
Enable optimized interconnect through heterogeneous component connectivity such as algorithms, software, RTOS, OS, CPU, Network, Mechanical, Electrical, Sensors Network, hardware integration, and more.
Innexis VSI supports various customer’s use cases; enabling
OEMs, tier 1s and tier 2s to perform:
• Scenario based validation/testing
• Software validation (Single/multiple SOCs, SiL, vHiL)
• Software development (Application/Firmware)
• SoC hardware/software co-validation in context of system-of-systems
• Power / Performance analysis for RTL model components in
context of a complete system
Gateways are categorized based on:
• Languages such as C++/SystemC/Python/ROS
• Pre-Silicon demands like Virtual Prototypes and RTL
• Post-Silicon requirements like hardware integration
• Specialized needs like Sensors, Actuators, Cloud Services, third party
Tools
• Communication Protocols like Ethernet, CAN, UART
• Bus Topologies like AXI
VSI creates a .csv file for each logged signal. After the simulation is completed, users can load the signals’ values and timestamps resulted from simulations into the Innexis CodeBench tool to create graphical plots of signals activities.
VSI along with the digital twin description language (DTDL), reference designs, and VsiBuild, VsiSim applications enable users to build and simulate digital twins connecting heterogeneous multi-behavioral systems.
