Displaced Worker Program Terms & Conditions

Siemens EDA’s Displaced Worker Program (“Program”) is open to experienced electronic design automation (EDA) users who have been unemployed for less than six months, with EDA users experiencing a period of unemployment longer than six months permitted entry to the Program at SISW’s discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, the Program is not available to employed EDA users or employees of Siemens EDA competitors.

The Program is in no way limited to former employees of Siemens EDA customers or previous Siemens EDA product users. In fact, we wholeheartedly support former users of competing products who wish to learn more about Siemens EDA solutions.

When attending classes as Program participant, users must meet the pre-requisites listed for each course description.

To qualify for the Program, an individual will need to supply:
• A current resume;
• Proof of previous employment; and
• If the individual’s previous employer was a Siemens EDA competitor, a letter or notice of termination or displacement.

Accepted Program participants will be asked to provide comments on the Program, and consent to the use of any such comments in Siemens EDA promotional statements or other materials related to the Program made generally available to the public.

Upon a user’s acceptance into the Program, Siemens EDA will add the user's name and contact information to the Displaced Worker Program Attendee List in the Employment & Training section of Siemens EDA’s online community.

The no-cost nature of the Program is subject to change, and Siemens EDA reserves the right to limit enrollment or discontinue the Program at any time.

By enrolling in the Program, users consent to these Terms and Conditions and any other terms and conditions referenced in Siemens EDA’s online training portal.
